Paramount is quietly making moves to keep its A Quiet Place franchise alive. The first film debuted in 2018, followed by the second installment nearly three years later. It has now been more than five years since fans have been waiting for A Quiet Place Part III, which is expected to conclude the original trilogy. While audiences continue to eagerly await the third film, Paramount has kept the franchise alive through a spin-off movie and comics.

Now, the studio is expanding the universe overrun by terrifying blind creatures once again with yet another comic issue.

A Quiet Place franchise is expanding with a new comic, A Quiet Place: Rising Tides. IDW Dark, the horror imprint of IDW Publishing, will publish this new issue. While it features the same blind creatures, the story moves towards a new location in the Florida Keys.

This is also one of the many titles based on Paramount franchises set to be published under IDW Dark. A Quiet Place: Rising Tides follows Grace, who reunites with her estranged father just before the alien invasion begins. With a lack of supplies and her father's failing health, Grace must deal with the sound-sensitive creatures. But as a hurricane closes in, their chances of survival grow increasingly slim.

Acclaimed writer and artist duo Declan Shalvey and Luke Sparrow have worked on the new comic series, as per Entertainment Weekly. Interestingly, the Florida Keys location played a crucial role in the spinoff, giving Shalvey plenty of opportunities to experiment with new ideas, including the alligators featured on the cover. The first issue is scheduled to debut in November this year.

Now, this is not the first comic issue on sound-sensitive creatures. The first was A Quiet Place: Storm Warning, which was published in March. There is also another live-action movie, A Quiet Place: Day One, written and directed by Michael Sarnoski.
