A political thriller about the assassination of a president and killers still on the loose, Paradise season 1 caught many off guard with its shocking twists and slow-burning tension. It quickly became a hit after its release in 2025. While the first season did answer some major questions, it also revealed just enough to make it clear that there is still much more hidden from both viewers and characters. 

After all, it is set in a post-apocalyptic world where much of humanity has been wiped out. And Season 2 may finally have more answers as it is set to arrive with a new plot, cast, and release date.

As for new faces in season 2, Thomas Doherty and Shailene Woodley are some of the notable names to join the show. The trailer for the show was revealed back in December of 2025, giving a few glimpses of what to expect in the next season.

The first season of Paradise ended with Secret Service agent Xavier Collins finally discovering that President Cal Bradford’s killer was Trent. He was a bunker librarian living under a false identity and had already tried to assassinate the president before the apocalypse. The finale also revealed that Xavier’s wife, long believed dead, might still be alive outside, which pushes him to leave the bunker in search of her. 

So, Season 2 will follow Xavier as he turns to see the world outside the bunker and what secrets and dangers lie outside. It will also shed light on the other survivors of the apocalypse. Meanwhile, tensions will also rise inside the bunker. The new season is expected to expand the story with more surprises and secrets.

And the release date of the show is not far away.

After much anticipation and speculations, Paradise season 2 is set to debut on Monday, February 23, on Hulu. The first three episodes will be available to stream on the premiere day, with new episodes releasing weekly.

With Xavier now outside the bunker, the new season will explore parts of the world thaviewers have not seen before. The stakes are clearly high this time, promising to reveal more about the post-apocalyptic world.
