Prince Harry made his debut as an author with his Spare memoir, and it is now the fastest-selling non-fiction book with 1 million sold copies.

Over 1,000,000 Copies Sold, Prince Harry’s Bombshell Memoir ‘Spare’ Garners a Dominating Place for the British Royal in 2023

Royal member Prince Harry has proved his capability as an author. Known for his
light and charming personality, people have always seen the Prince smile. But it
was through his book after Megxit that they saw a different side of him, one
which he kept away from the paparazzi all the years. A lot was at stake when the
Duke decided to move ahead, much to the disappointment of royal fans.

As it turns out, there are also people out there willing to know the other side.
The Spare author released his much controversial yet anticipated memoir on 10th
January 2023. The book is seeing immense success, considering it sold one
million copies in a matter of a few months.

WITH ONE MILLION COPIES SOLD, HOW PRINCE HARRY PENNED DOWN THE BEST-SELLING
MEMOIR

As deals tumble down for Meghan Markle
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/meghan-markle/], Prince Harry is seeing
immense success with his memoir Spare. According to LiveMint,
[https://www.livemint.com/news/world/prince-harrys-memoir-spare-becomes-one-of-the-best-selling-books-of-2023-11688431519954.html]
the 416-page memoir lifted itself and the whole non-fiction category up in 2023.
Ranking-wise, the book is actually considered up there with Barack Obama’s A
Promised Land, and Michelle Obama’s Becoming. This self-help book came as an
extension of the allegations that the 38-year-old made along with his wife,
during the damaging Oprah Winfrey interview.

Discussions regarding the book were kept on hold following the demise of Queen
Elizabeth II. There were hopes for reconciliation when Prince Harry attended the
last rites, but his relations with his family only worsened after the book’s
release. However, it did help Sussexes get stable financially.

Now that they are making their own mark in the entertainment industry in
Hollywood, it has been a rollercoaster ride that they refuse to stop.

HOW THE SPARE SUCCESS WILL HELP SUSSEXES’ ENTERTAINMENT CAREER

It is no secret that maintaining a royal life without the support of the royal
family is a challenge. But their explosive interviews made a gateway for the
Sussex to sign a $100 million deal with Netflix, although pressure is mounting
to create content
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/netflix-news-netflix-wants-much-more-for-their-money-from-harry-and-meghan-100-million-deal-highly-unlikely-to-be-renewed/].
Apart from the Harry & Meghan documentary series, they look to create content
that will steer away from the royal drama.

Of course, the crumbling of their Spotify deal, and its premature ending, does
not sit well for them. A full stop was out on their Dior deal rumors before it
could be confirmed. But perhaps the book’s success brings new hopes to their
career. The stunning sales can help Prince Harry and Meghan Markle win the trust
of the producers and take a step forward in their career in Hollywood.
