It took 14 years for Marvel to introduce Moon Knight into the action, only to make fans wait again for four years for the superhero's return. The legendary anti-hero finally received his own Disney+ series, which served as both an origin story and a springboard for future supernatural tales and characters. And still, it is not confirmed when Moon Knight might make his next appearance. All we have got are rumors of his next big adventure in the MCU. Marc Spector's future was promising, and the only unanswered question was when he would next appear.

However, new information has surfaced recently suggesting that he might be seen in an upcoming Marvel project.

Although most of the details on this are a bit hazy, it is almost confirmed that Oscar Isaac will once more be seen as Moon Knight in the MCU. In one of his famous Q&A sessions for The Cosmic Circus recently, journalist, writer, and insider for the MCU, Alex Perez, revealed Marvel’s future plans for the anti-hero.

When asked about where Moon Knight might appear next outside of the Midnight Sons and his own show, Perez replied Daredevil stating that the path that Knonshu had planned out for him will eventually take him to New York. This was specifically for his appearance outside the Midnight Sons, which is heavily rumored to be Moon Knight and Ghost Rider’s next project.

Other than Alex Perez via The Cosmic Circus, even Oscar Isaac confirmed on the Happy Sad Confused podcast with Josh Horowitz in April this year that there have been talks about a Midnight Sons movie at Marvel. The actor also discussed the possibility of Ryan Gosling joining the project as the Ghost Rider, while obviously not confirming anything.

But the big question is which project will feature the superhero first and also if the character’s standalone show will find life once again.

Which project might mark Oscar Isaac’s return to MCU first?

While none of the possible appearances have been officially confirmed, the insider reports seem to be pretty solid, and the rumors of Midnight Sons are especially fervent, with media outlets constantly talking about the speculations for a couple of years now. Still, the latest reveal of a possible Moon Knight crossover in Daredevil: Born Again seems more probable as the seasons have been coming almost back-to-back without any delays.

With this speed, we might get to see the anti-hero in New York either clashing or assisting the masked vigilante. Moreover, a June 9 report from The Cosmic Circus reveals that a sequel to Moon Knight, where Marc Spector and Steven Grant would be forced to solve a mystery that would eventually bring them face-to-face with the third personality, Jake Lockley. All in all, Oscar Isaac’s comeback to the MCU is more like an eventuality now than a possibility.
