With awards season in full swing, Hollywood is once again celebrating its brightest talents and grandest cinematic spectacles. Films like One Battle After Another and Bugonia have been showered with love and praise as they await their Oscar fate. However, a handful of Hollywood movies, which are criticized for being forgettable and flawed, are not escaping attention either, with the return of the 2026 Razzie Awards.

This year, several movies and stars have found themselves under an unflattering light as the Razzies dropped their most talked-about and debated list of nominations.

A humorous counterpoint to the best awards shows, the 2026 Razzie Awards, which focuses on the worst films, have released their list of nominations. Leading the lineup are War of the Worlds and Snow White with six nominations each. The Electric State, Hurry Up Tomorrow, Snow White (2025), Star Trek: Section 31, and War Of The Worlds (2025) are nominated for the Worst Picture.

Dave Bautista (In The Lost Lands), Ice Cube (War Of The Worlds), Scott Eastwood (Alarum), Jared Leto (Tron: Ares), and Abel "The Weeknd" Tesfaye (Hurry Up Tomorrow) got dragged for the Worst Actor title. Ariana DeBose, Milla Jovovich, Natalie Portman, Rebel Wilson, and Michele Yeoh were nominated for the Worst Actress category. Hollywood’s latest batch of flops is getting the spotlight it probably does not want. In the running for Worst Remake/Rip-Off/Sequel are I Know What You Did Last Summer, Five Nights At Freddy’s 2, Smurfs, Snow White, and War Of The Worlds.

The Worst Supporting Actress category includes Anna Chlumsky (Bride Hard), Ema Horvath (The Strangers: Chapter 2), Scarlet Rose Stallone (Gunslingers), Kacey Rohl (Star Trek: Section 31), and Isis Valverde (Alarum). On the male side, Worst Supporting Actor sees All Seven Artificial Dwarfs (Snow White), Nicolas Cage (Gunslingers), Stephen Dorff (Bride Hard), Greg Kinnear (Off The Grid), and Sylvester Stallone (Alarum) battling it out for the title nobody wants. All Seven Dwarfs (Snow White), James Corden & Rihanna (Smurfs), Ice Cube & His Zoom Camera (War Of The Worlds), Robert De Niro & Robert De Niro as Frank & Vito (The Alto Knights), and The Weeknd & His Colossal Ego (Hurry Up Tomorrow) are nominated for Worst Screen Combo.

Directors are not safe either, with Rich Lee (War Of The Worlds), Olatunde Osunsanmi (Star Trek: Section 31), The Russo Brothers (The Electric State), Trey Edward Shults (Hurry Up Tomorrow), and Marc Webb (Snow White) nominated for Worst Director. Finally, the Worst Screenplay contenders include The Electric State, Hurry Up Tomorrow, Snow White, Star Trek: Section 31, and War Of The Worlds.
