Flash. The studio cut the actor’s return as Superman in the final scene of the

alternate ending would have marked Michael Keaton reprising his role as Batman.

Despite not having a debut from Cavill as fans wanted, the movie has lived much
to the expectations of the audience.

film could not live up to the expectations of the studio.



As per reports by Variety, the Flash failed to deliver, as it only grossed $55
million at the box office. To make matters worse for the studio, the film cost
nearly $200 million in production. Furthermore, the studio had to invest another
$100 million in the film’s promotions. Safe to assume that The Flash
disappointed at the box office.
