Adapted from Off-Campus by Elle Kennedy, the hockey drama quickly built a passionate fandom after Season 1 introduced viewers to the complicated romance between Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham at Briar University. Now, Prime Video has officially renewed the series for Season 2, and anticipation is already building around which Briar University romance will take center ice next. With scripts completed, filming dates locked in, and new casting additions already confirmed, the next chapter of the hockey phenomenon is moving faster than many expected.

Prime Video has not announced an official premiere date for Season 2 yet, but current production timelines strongly suggest a mid-to-late 2027 release window. According to multiple production reports, filming is scheduled to begin on June 1, 2026, in Vancouver and continue through September 18. Showrunner Louisa Levy has already confirmed that all eight scripts for the sophomore season are completed, signaling that the creative process is well ahead of schedule. 

Prime Video also renewed the series before Season 1 even premiered, reflecting strong confidence in the adaptation and its growing audience demand.The timing also aligns with Prime Video’s larger push into romance-driven young adult dramas, making Off Campus one of the streamer’s most valuable developing franchises. As excitement around the release continues to grow, the bigger question among fans is what story the series will prioritize next.

The answer appears to shift the emotional spotlight away from Hannah and Garrett toward another fan-favorite Briar University pairing.

Season 2 is expected to adapt The Score, the third novel in Elle Kennedy’s bestselling hockey romance series, with the story centering primarily on Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes. Unlike the carefree hookups Dean is known for, his connection with Allie becomes far more emotionally complicated after she begins trying to rebuild her life following a long-term breakup. The upcoming season will reportedly explore vulnerability, emotional maturity, and the consequences of relationships that begin casually but quickly become serious.
