Antonio Cipriano said Off Campus' decision to skip ahead to a later book before adapting Logan's romance gives viewers more time to understand his character and struggles before introducing his relationship with Grace. Prime Video's Off Campus became an instant hit by bringing Elle Kennedy's beloved hockey romance series to life, earning a passionate fan following even before its first season had finished airing. As anticipation builds for Season 2, many readers have noticed that the adaptation is taking a different route than the books.
While the series is expected to move ahead with Dean and Allie's story before fully adapting Logan and Grace's romance, actor Antonio Cipriano believes the change may actually benefit his character's journey. His recent comments offer insight into why the creative decision could make Logan's eventual love story even more meaningful.

Rather than rushing into Logan's romance, Off Campus has spent its first season establishing who he is outside of a relationship. According to Antonio Cipriano, that extra character development creates a stronger foundation for what comes next. In a new interview with PEOPLE, the actor explained why he appreciates the altered timeline.
“I’m glad that you don’t see him in love in the first season,” he explained. “I think it’s cool that you get to know who he is as a person and the struggles that he’s going through, so that when that comes in, when you meet Grace and when he gets to do that, she gets to take down his walls, and you get to see even more of that.”
His comments suggest viewers will still get early glimpses of Logan and Grace's dynamic in Season 2, even if their full romance remains reserved for a later chapter. With India Fowler now cast as Grace Ivers, fans can begin looking forward to the chemistry that book readers have been waiting to see.
As Logan's future starts taking shape, attention is also turning toward the central romance expected to drive the next season.
What can fans expect from Off Campus Season 2?
Off Campus Season 2 is widely expected to focus on Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes, shifting the spotlight to a relationship that begins casually before developing into something far deeper. Their story is likely to explore emotional vulnerability, personal growth, and the challenges that arise when feelings become impossible to ignore.
Several familiar faces are expected to return, including Mika Abdalla, Stephen Kalyn, Ella Bright, Belmont Cameli, Antonio Cipriano, and Jalen Thomas Brooks. India Fowler joins the ensemble as Grace, setting up future storylines for Logan. Production is expected to return to Vancouver, with co-showrunners Louisa Levy and Gina Fattore continuing to oversee the series alongside Amazon MGM Studios and Temple Hill Entertainment.
