Love appears to be blooming for Mike Abdalla beyond her show Off Campus. The actress, who played Allie Hayes in the series and is set to lead its next season, is reportedly dating her co-star Josh Heuston. While fans are eager to see her return to the show, Abdalla has also been making headlines for her personal life. 

Following the end of the first season, rumors began circulating that she had found love with her Off Campus co-star.

Mike Abdalla is reportedly dating Josh Heuston, as per sources who spoke to US Weekly. The report comes after the outlet revealed that Abdalla had split from her former boyfriend, Jake Short. The former couple met on the set of S** Appeal in 2021.

As for Abdalla and Heuston, the two were reportedly spotted together in Paris by fans, as per Us Weekly. However, neither actor has commented on the dating rumors. The pair first met while filming Season 1 of Off Campus. Abdalla plays Allie Hayes, while Heuston portrays Justin.

The character Justin appears as the crush of the main character, Hannah, played by Ella Bright, but is left heartbroken after she chooses Garrett instead. Speaking about Justin's future, Heuston said he hopes the character eventually finds peace with the situation. He added that Justin might channel his heartbreak into writing some good songs.

That also raises the question of whether Justin will return for Season 2 and any future installments of the series.

Justin Kohl is one of the fan-favorite characters from the series Off Campus. While he has an important arc in the books, the character will unfortunately not return for Season 2.  But creator Louisa Levy told TV Guide that she would be interested in bringing Justin back in the future. 

“[He is] not [in] next season, but I love Josh and I would not write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point," Levy said.

However, the show creator explained that Justin has a storyline in the books where he eventually ends up with a character named Stella, giving the series plenty of material to explore Justin's arc. She also revealed that the creative team never intended to write the character out of the second season. However, Josh Heuston was reportedly unavailable for filming.

As per Deadline, Heuston is busy with his role in horror-thriller The First Exorcist. Even so, Levy suggested that if the opportunity arises, both Heuston and Justin could return in a future season. As for the dating rumors, fans will have to wait for an official statement from Mike Abdalla and Josh Heuston.
