Cast and creative team of the Oasis reunion documentary
Steven Knight, who created Peaky Blinders and the current James Bond movie, is set to pen the currently untitled Oasis documentary film as well. It has been directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, who also directed Shut Up and Play the Hits and Meet Me in the Bathroom. The film is a Magna Studio production, presented by Sony Music Vision in association with Sony Music Entertainment UK.
Additionally, Sam Bridger and Guy Heeley are the producers. Executive producers include Kate Shepherd, Marisa Clifford, Tom Mackay, Krista Wegener, Isabel Davis, and Tim O’Shea. Furthermore, sound experts James Mather and Tarn Willers are joined by DoP Haris Zambarloukos to make up the creative technical team, and add an Oscar-winning streak to the team.
The documentary will not only follow the band’s reunion tour but also explore the emotional and cultural significance surrounding Oasis’ return, all concentrated to one release date.

The Oasis’ reunion documentary is now looking to capture their audience on the big screen. The band documentary has been acquired by Disney+. The documentary will follow the band on their Live '25 tour.
It is set to be released in theaters and IMAX worldwide on September 11, 2026. Following its theatrical run, it will stream worldwide on Disney+ and Hulu later in 2026. It is coming to cinemas and streaming services, taking Oasis fans closer to one of the most talked-about comeback tours by the band.
Beyond the global release plans, the documentary also promises an in-depth look at the band’s historic reunion and the moments surrounding it.
