Now Boasting the 4th Biggest Viewership Record, ‘Friends’ Diva Jennifer Aniston Ran off the Stage in Early Days

Jennifer Aniston has had a rough life before she gained massive stardom from the
NBC sitcom, Friends. However, after becoming a Hollywood star, the American diva
served as an inspiration to millions of women around the world, not only with
her beautiful style and stunning fashion but also with her heartwarming story of
achieving success. Because of her contribution along with others, Friends,
especially the finale, got the fourth biggest viewership ever.

Despite being a part of the legacy, the now 54-year-old actress once ran away
from people seeing her on the stage.

JENNIFER ANISTON ONCE RAN AWAY FROM THE STAGE IN HER PRE-FRIENDS ERA

Almost all the actors started their journeys from a theater stage. Jennifer
Aniston was no exception. During her interview with Rolling Stone in 2001, the
actress recalled
[https://www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv-movie-features/interview-jennifer-aniston-171848/] how
she could not come on the stage because of an obvious reason. She had auditioned
for a musical when she was in her junior year at the High School of Performing
Arts. Despite getting the role, she bailed at the last minute, as she was
terrified by the notion of performing in front of an audience.

The Cake actress made an excuse about having a job after school and ran away
from the stage. However, the very next year, she came back to play one of the
princess’ maids in the school production of Turandot. Recalling her experience
in school, Aniston admitted she did not get the nicest parts. She remembered how
one of the teachers at school, a Russian teacher, used to tell her she was a
disgrace. He even stated that the Primetime Emmy Award-winning actress should
never be allowed to perform in front of people.

However, all the little Aniston wanted to do was make people cry. She wanted to
move people by her performances. Instead, she would end up making them laugh.
Was it one of the reasons she gave some of the greatest performances in comedy
films? Well, the actress did not say that, but it might be a huge part of her
best comic performances.

Once The Morning Star actress overcame her stage fear, she chose her path to
success. She went on to become one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood.
Moreover, she made some of the stars her best friends like Jason Bateman, Jimmy
