When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got married, they had no idea that they would be generating so much heat in the upcoming years. When the couple made the decision to separate from the Royal Family, they brought upon themselves the heat of the members. However, it is not just Harry’s side of the family that holds grudges against the couple.

Markle’s side of the family, especially her dad’s side, does not share a good bond with her. In fact, her dad, half-brother, and sister, Thomas, and Samantha, recently gave a burning interview to Channel 7, where they shared their opinions about her. The interview also featured some old pictures and videos of the Suits actress from her childhood and teen years.

After the interview, body language and communication analyst Judi James examined pictures of the Suits actress from her childhood. Surprisingly, she found her very sweet as a child and said that she wanted a similar relationship with Samantha. According to Express, Judi said, “These pictures do seem to show a deteriorating relationship on Samantha’s side, not Meghan’s.”

There were a few pictures of the sister where toddler Markle is sitting on her lap of Samantha and smiling carefree. James also called her “trusting and uncomplicated,” which suggests that the former actress never wanted to keep grudges.

In fact, in some of the pictures, even Samantha looked very happy and close to Markle. But then, what changed?

What changed between Meghan Markle and her half-sister?

The relationship between Markle and her sister Samantha has been rocky for many years. In fact, Samantha has publicly criticized her on multiple occasions, including writing a book about their family and making derogatory comments about the Duchess on social media and in interviews with the media.

Their tense relationship traces its roots back to jealousy and anger, with Samantha feeling excluded from Markle’s life when she gained fame. On the other hand, Markle has tried her best to maintain good terms with her. The pictorial proof of this is explained by James through one of the pictures, where the Duchess seemed to rest her head over Samantha’s shoulder. In order to do that, she pushed her hair to one side of her shoulder.

Despite the Duchess’ attempts to reconcile with Samantha, she has continued to publicly criticize her and the royal family. In response, she has chosen to largely ignore her half-sister’s comments and focus on her own family and career.

Overall, it seems that the relationship between them is distant and strained, with little hope for reconciliation in the near future.
