Arnold Schwarzenegger is choosing the catchphrase not chosen as he states that "I'll be back" is not his favorite catchphrase.

Not the Iconic “I’ll Be Back” but Arnold Schwarzenegger Chooses This Catchphrase Out of the Thousands

It was in 1984 that Arnold Schwarzenegger
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/arnold-schwarzenegger] first said “I’ll be
back,” in what would go on to become the blockbuster phenomenon, The Terminator.
In the movie, the cyborg assassin calmly states it before wreaking havoc. And in
the years to come, the catchphrase went on to become symbolic of the Golden Age
of Hollywood as it was uttered like a promise of a blockbuster in various
movies. But the man behind the phrase itself does not resonate with this
sentiment.

Defying popular belief, Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed that The Terminator
catchphrase is not his favorite. So what has the actor chosen in lieu of the
three magic words that have been a symbol of blockbuster magic?

WHAT IS ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER’S FAVORITE PUNCHLINE?

As he returned to acting after an extended hiatus, Arnold Schwarzenegger said in
his FUBAR trailer, “I am back, baby!” This is just one of the many instances
where the actor has got the audience roaring with the punchline. However, when
it came to picking his favorite, the Austrian Oak said, Hercules in New York is
his favorite in terms of punchlines.

It is unclear which punchline from the mythological movie the 75-year-old is
referring to. The movie, albeit belonging to a supreme franchise, did not prove
to be the most stunning debut for the actor. In fact, he mostly did it because
of his idol

Looking back at the movie, many assume Schwarzenegger was either going for a
satirical take on the Greek hero or he was storing his acting skills for later
years. At no point in its hour-and-a-half duration does Schwarzenegger utter a
punchline that gets the audience rolling. Therefore, one can assume that the
actor was only joking with his fans. Especially because there are more fishes in
the sea of Schwarzenegger catchphrases that he can choose from.

CATCHPHRASES THAT PROVE ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER IS A ZINGER MASTER

The iconic phrase from 1984 laid the red carpet for numerous other iconic
catchphrases to come. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who often played lead in action
extravaganzas, absolutely nailed one-liner deliveries. Served in his thick
Austrian accent, albeit not as globally acclaimed as “I’ll be back,” these
catchphrases have a fanbase of their own.

A close second to The Terminator oneliner is “Get to the Choppa!” Accentuated by
his accent, this too proved to be a success, barring the curse of time. Others
include “Hasta la vista, baby!” from Terminator 2: Judgement Day and “I let him
go,” from Predator.

Aliza's journey into entertainment reporting began with her time at Otakukart, where she wrote over a thousand articles. Her writing style is cheeky and engaging, as seen in her report "Somewhat Alarmed," where she narrates Jimmy Kimmel's hilarious story of how Jason Bateman tricked him into gecko-sitting. Aliza's ultimate dream is to study and critique films that capture her imagination and the attention of movie-goers worldwide. When she is not busy binge-watching Sacha Baron Cohen movies and The Office, she loves to curl up with a weathered copy of a Khaled Hosseini or Indu Sundaresan book.
