The allegations that she escaped from her parents’ shadows, or threatened to cut off her family seem to have been fabricated and circulated online. 

However, North West recently told Dazed in an interview that she would like to experience life away from the spotlight. The teenager said she was interested in getting a regular job at Starbucks when she turned 14. She further said that she is not interested in the same things many kids her age seem to be.

Kardashian once told Billboard the same and said that she has fostered her daughter's sense of self in her own way. But she’s also made it clear that she is a parent, not a 'cool mum'. 

Ultimately, the viral TikTok Live claims about North West should be taken with a grain of salt, as there is no credible evidence to suggest that the alleged livestream actually happened or that she made the statements attributed to her. But her confirmed public statements suggest a desire for music, independence, and an average teenage life. As she continues to grow up in the spotlight, her relationship with her mother remains an integral part of her life, which makes it all the more necessary to distinguish between actual comments versus made-up viral content.
