The first clip, which was dropped during the much-anticipated Thursday night matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs, quickly drew attention from fans. But what is this new project that brought Nicolas Cage to the NFL field?

Amazon Prime dropped an intriguing trailer, which is a first look at talented actor Nicolas Cage taking on the role of legendary former NFL player John Madden. Titled Madden, David O. Russell’s movie is a biopic of the NFL legend John Madden. 

With blonde hair and broad shoulders, the actor looks eerily similar to the legend. In one of the scenes, he wore light blue trousers paired with a navy blue shirt, which is similar to one of John Madden’s pictures from the 70s.

The film is about the journey of the legendary former NFL player, from his humble beginnings to becoming one of the most influential names in the sport, and revolutionizing the sport. After making a name for himself as a player, he became the head coach of the Oakland Raiders.

After his time on the field, he dipped his feet into the broadcasting world and became an icon. He also started the John Madden Football and Madden NFL video games, which were released in the '80s.
