At the same time, he wanted a shorter, sharper screen name that could stand independently without constant comparisons to his famous relatives, including Francis Ford Coppola and Sofia Coppola.

While promoting Spider-Noir, Nicolas Cage also reflected on an abandoned television project from the early 1990s during a conversation with Complex News.
