There is a wedding in the sequel to Red, White & Royal Blue, Red While & Royal Wedding. While Nicholas Galitzine was careful not to reveal any details about the wedding or the plot, he did share a hint to spark speculation, one as brutal as the Game of Thrones' Red Wedding. If Prince Phillip’s wedding, where, most notably, a £75,000 wedding cake came crashing down on Alex and Prince Henry, is anything to go by, Galitzine's hint might prove to become a spoiler.

And if Galitzine’s cryptic comments are any indication, this wedding in Red, White & Royal Wedding, could be even more chaotic than before.

Nicholas Galitzine recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about his film, Masters of the Universe. During the conversation, he revealed that they have already filmed for the sequel, Red, White & Royal Wedding. But speaking of the wedding, the actor jokingly teased that it could be a Red Wedding.

“There;s a wedding, we don't know whose wedding,” he said. “Oh, maybe it's like the Red Wedding in Game of Thrones.”

The Red Wedding in Game of Thrones was one of the most brutal and shocking massacres depicted in the show. The event took place during the wedding of Edmure Tully and Roslin Frey, but it quickly descended into betrayal and bloodshed. While Galitzine was almost certainly not suggesting that Red, White & Royal Wedding will feature a massacre, his joke may have been a playful nod to the chaos and unexpected twists that could be expected in the movie.

Moreover, there is much more suspense this time, considering the sequel is not based on a book. The script for sequel is written by Gemma Burgess, Matthew López and Casey McQuiston. As for whose wedding is actually being included in the movie, Galitzine has remained tight-lipped.

However a few months back, both Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez have hinted that it could involve a fan-favorite character from the movie.

Fans may finally have an answer to one of the biggest questions surrounding Red, White & Royal Wedding. During the filming period, Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez hinted that the wedding in the sequel belongs to Prince Henry’s younger sister, Princess Beatrice. The pair shared the update in a behind-the-scenes video from the movie’s set. 

“Oh, I did want to say that we are here for Bea’s wedding,” Perez said in a behind-the-scenes Instagram Reel. 

The actors also addressed speculation that Prince Henry and Alex would be getting married in Red, White & Royal Wedding. Galitzine suggested that a wedding for the beloved couple is still a long way off, seemingly ruling out that possibility for now, as well as what the source of a chaotic Red-Wedding-esque event be. The sequel is expected to debut on Prime Video in 2026.
