Sweeney plays Katrina Van Tassel, the character positioned at the center of filmmaker Lindsey Anderson Beer's reimagining of Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Belmont Cameli also stars. This time, Katrina drives the mystery herself, navigating an alluring supernatural love triangle and psychological intrigue.

Beer will write and direct the adaptation of her own debut novel, slated for publication by Putnam in fall 2027. The book's release date is confirmed; the movie's theatrical date remains unannounced. Beer produces through Lab Brew, alongside LuckyChap and Sweeney's Honey Trap banner.
