"Nice Form"- Lewis Hamilton's 'Kill Bill' Like Move Gets A Nod From Uma Thurman
The road ahead looks a lot shinier for Lewis Hamilton after finally clinching his first podium for Ferrari at the Chinese Grand Prix, and the confidence boost is clearly doing laps off the track, too. With just days left for the Japanese Grand Prix, Hamilton seems to be making the most of his time in Japan. He was recently seen at Tokyo’s iconic Daikoku Parking Area in a Ferrari F40, making a subtle impact.
And now, he has arrived at yet another iconic spot in Japan, even earning a nod from Kill Bill icon Uma Thurman.

Lewis Hamilton recently shared a wholesome Instagram carousel packed with clips from his latest adventure with Tetsuro Shimaguchi, where he tried his hand at sword-fighting. Shimaguchi choreographed all the scenes for the movie Kill Bill. In the caption, Hamilton made sure to mention the legend and praised his work in the movie, calling it one of his all-time favorite films. And Uma Thurman, who performed those incredible stunts in the movie, also acknowledged Hamilton’s new form. “Nice form,” she wrote in the comments.
Wearing a kimono and holding a sword, Hamilton posed with the legend himself and even shared a clip of him practicing sword-fighting with the instructors. Alongside it, he also shared a heartfelt memory from his childhood, recalling how he first took up karate to deal with bullies and how it taught him discipline. The final slide has a childhood photo of Hamilton in his karate uniform.
“I took lessons every week for seven years, and every class began with us kneeling and bowing to our sensei. I did the same yesterday to begin my lesson with Tetsuro,” he wrote. He ended his lengthy caption by expressing his gratitude for Japan and its rich culture. Clearly, Hamilton has a deep appreciation for its traditions. But it would not be surprising if he later revealed that scenes from Kill Bill inspired him to try his hand at sword-fighting, especially given how much he admires film.
After all, even a popular video game had also turned to Thurman’s unforgettable character in Kill Bill.

Back in November 2025, Uma Thurman teamed up with Quentin Tarantino and Epic Games for the popular game Fortnite. Using motion-capture tech and Unreal Engine, her facial expressions were created for the digital world. In an earlier conversation with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she recalled wearing a funny hood-like mask that helped capture those expressions.

Thurman admitted she had no idea how massive Fortnite really was before becoming a skin in the game. She was especially surprised and impressed by how many women played it. Given the popularity of her Kill Bill character, bringing it into the game felt like a natural move, letting fans tap into that sword-fighting fantasy without flying all the way to Japan.
