The Batman fandom finally seemed to have seemed to have gotten the answer to one of the much-debated questions before its premiere. And that is the rumor of Sebastian Stan playing the role of DC villain Harvey Dent in Matt Reeves' upcoming The Batman: Part 2. Later, he was also rumored to be taking on the role of Victor Zsasz.

And after much speculation surrounding his involvement in the movie, Stan seemingly confirmed that he would play Harvey Dent. However, it appears the answer may not be that simple after all. The actor has since clarified his comments, turning the entire situation upside down.

Earlier, it was reported that Sebastian Stan said, “I play Harvey Dent,” during an interview with the French outlet Le Journal du Dimanche. The news quickly made the rounds online, with fans speculating that Stan had confirmed his involvement in The Batman: Part II and most importantly his role. Unfortunately, it turns out that the actor was misquoted by the French outlet.

The misprint in the online article has since been updated and corrected by the French outlet, as per TheWrap. So, now, fans will likely have to start the speculation all over again, since the actor has now seemingly denied the claim. As for Stan, the actor is best known for playing Bucky Barnes in the Marvel films. While his role in The Batman: Part II remains questionable, he is set to appear in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday and reprise his role.

While the latest update will once again raise questions about Harvey Dent and who could be the villain in The Batman: Part II, some clips from the filming set of the movie have been garnering traction online.

A few glimpses from The Batman Part II set surfaced on social media earlier and quickly caught fans’ attention. One of the clips shared by the X account @BatSource1 offers a clearer look at the new glossy, dark Batmobile used in the sequel. And the video clearly shows the modified Dodge Charger-based vehicle being moved into a garage

The Batmobile appears to feature several visible changes from the version driven by Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne in The Batman. The sequel is reportedly filming in Glasgow, where the videos are said to have been captured. For now, these rare set glimpses are among the few looks fans have at the movie, giving them plenty to speculate about until it arrives on the big screen.
