The Gentlemen Season 2 turned Eddie Horniman's inheritance into a luxury nightmare with a criminal subscription plan. Guy Ritchie sent Theo James's aristocrat scrambling through shifting alliances, territorial ambitions, and catastrophic decisions.

Netflix released the second season in September, having already confirmed another round of Eddie's questionable career development. The cameras have returned for Season 3. Unfortunately, the latest alleged disturbance involved neither gangsters nor a scripted shootout.

Reports suggest the real drama arrived before somebody could even shout action.

Guy Ritchie's The Gentleman action seeps into real life

Flying bullets, furious mobsters, and suspiciously well-dressed criminals usually belong to a Guy Ritchie script. This time, according to a tabloid report, the trouble allegedly came from behind the camera. The Sun reported that two crew members on The Gentlemen set got into a physical altercation at West Wycombe Park House in Buckinghamshire while Theo James and colleagues prepared to film a fishing sequence.

One worker was reportedly struck in the face and suffered what appeared to be a cut lip before the pair were separated. An unnamed source described the incident as sudden and said James appeared bewildered. Imagine arriving for a peaceful afternoon of angling and discovering the crew has independently commissioned a boxing spin-off.

Page Six subsequently reported the allegations and sought comment from representatives, receiving no immediate response. Neither the trigger for the dispute nor an official production account has been established. A single alleged altercation does not establish a wider workplace crisis.

And another Guy Ritchie drama has demonstrated how quickly supposed off-camera warfare can dominate headlines.

MobLand's rumored feud gets an unexpectedly friendly sequel

Over at MobLand, the Harrigans have enough poisonous family arguments to keep a therapist permanently employed. Earlier this year, however, attention shifted toward the actors themselves. Reports alleged that Tom Hardy's working habits had created friction, particularly claims he left Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan waiting while he remained in his trailer.

Rumors evolved into speculation about a feud and his future on the Paramount+ crime drama. None established that Mirren and Hardy had engaged in a heated confrontation over creative differences. Mirren publicly rejected the supposed rift and expressed affection for her co-star.

At the London Season 2 premiere in September, she and Hardy embraced on the red carpet. Brosnan called the controversy a “storm in a teacup,” while Hardy praised his veteran colleagues. MobLand survived its tabloid subplot with smiles intact. The Gentlemen now faces a familiar challenge: letting its fictional gangsters supply the drama.
