Recently, the Men in Black actor congratulated a Netflix documentary that his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, has narrated that is Queen Cleopatra.
Queen Cleopatra is a Netflix Original documentary that follows the rise and contributions of the Egyptian Queen. Recently, the docuseries received an award for Outstanding Performance in London. The actress who played the role, Adele James, received praise from a handful of people, including the Emancipation star. The actor took to his Instagram stories to congratulate the actress and his wife.

The 51-year-old actress produced and narrated Queen Cleopatra. This docuseries is the first of a two-season series, African Queens. In the second season, the focus shifts to the reign of Queen Njinga, a powerful ruler who lived in the 1600s. The narrative around Cleopatra, however, has stimulated heated debate and backlash. Despite the controversial take, the actress who played the lead impressed the critics with her outstanding performance.
