A24 has a new reason to keep the lights on as Hunter Schafer has revealed that the Untitled Arkasha Stevenson Project's mysterious bachelor-party nightmare is, in fact, a vampire film. First announced in November 2025, the untitled horror project promised a celebration spiraling into terror, with Schafer and a star-studded ensemble ready to make the guest list considerably more dangerous. Filming wrapped in April 2026, but the studio has kept the finer details under wraps.

With Emma Corrin, Josh Hutcherson, Sophie Wilde, and Fabien Frankel joining Schafer, this soul-sucking party already sounds like one invitation horror fans should think twice about accepting.

Hunter Schafer has finally given horror fans a tantalizing clue about her mysterious A24 project, and it involves vampires. During an interview at the 6th Annual Academy Museum Gala, the Euphoria star revealed that she filmed a vampire movie earlier this year, describing the experience as her favorite filming experience yet. The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures subsequently shared the interview on its social media.

"I'm so excited about it. It might be my favorite thing I've ever filmed," she said.

It was when the interviewer asked whether there was a horror franchise she would love to join that Schafer surprised them by revealing that she had already filmed a vampire movie. Asked what made the project so special, the actress called it "crazy" and added that she and her fellow actresses got to perform in an unusual way. Naturally, the conversation turned to whether Schafer actually plays a vampire.

Schafer playfully hesitated before answering, admitting that she was unsure whether she could reveal anything because the project remained listed on IMDb as an untitled A24 project. The interviewer quickly backed off to avoid getting her into trouble, but Schafer confessed that she would happily share every detail if she could. The Academy Museum's social media post has now given fans a tantalizing glimpse behind the scenes.

While Hunter Schafer tackles a vampire film and literally is throwing herself into Blade Runner 2099, Arkasha Stevenson’s involvement makes the A24 horror even more intriguing.

If Hunter Schafer describes her upcoming A24 vampire film as "crazy," Arkasha Stevenson has the horror credentials to make that sound like an understatement. The filmmaker behind The First Omen favors visceral body horror, creeping psychological paranoia, and unsettling imagery over cheap jump scares. Her films turn physical vulnerability into something deeply disturbing, where the human body itself becomes a source of dread.

Stevenson is also known to draw on the paranoid atmosphere of 1970s horror, building tension through oppressive settings and the growing suspicion that something is terribly wrong. Her background in photojournalism lends her filmmaking a raw, unsettling realism, making even the most grotesque moments feel disturbingly tangible.

With Schafer calling the vampire project her favorite filming experience, Stevenson's approach makes the promise of something truly unhinged all the more intriguing.
