Sadie Sink has swung straight into every Spider-Man fan's line of sight, and that is hardly breaking news anymore. Fresh off her Stranger Things glory, the actress has kept fans spinning in circles over her mysterious Spider-Man: Brand New Day role, especially after her interactions with Tom Holland and Zendaya, who even watched Sink and Noah Jupe's Romeo and Juliet play.

Now, as more details emerge, one delighted fan is Tom Holland himself, whose face says everything when he jokes about Marvel's suspiciously generous treatment of Sink without actually spilling a single spoiler.

Sadie Sink's secret Spider-Man: Brand New Day role has finally yielded a delicious little clue, although Marvel still refuses to hand fans the actual answer. During the global press conference hosted by Josh Horowitz from Edge NYC, Kevin Feige revealed that Destin Daniel Cretton simply decided Sink was right for the part after working with her on The Glass Castle. No audition, no ordeal, just a few phone calls and a Marvel-sized yes.

"Must be nice!.. Must be nice," Tom Holland immediately chimed in, turning the press conference into a tiny Marvel courtroom where the charge was suspiciously pleasant casting treatment. The joke had everyone in the room cracking smiles because Holland knows exactly how brutal the Spider-Man audition web can be: the actor endured seven months and eight auditions before beating out more than 2,500 actors to become Peter Parker.

Yet the joke could not dampen the praise that Sadie Sink has received from Holland himself. Holland has praised the composure she brought to the pressure cooker of the MCU, before announcing that Sink 'steals the movie' in the third act. Although the respect does go both ways, as Sink has returned the favor by crediting Holland with making her feel at ease on set, proving that beneath all the teasing, this Spider-Man pairing is rather sweet.

And if Marvel really has taken a liking to Sadie Sink, her Spider-Man: Brand New Day appearance may only be the beginning of her MCU adventure.

Marvel seems very keen to keep Sadie Sink in its web

Sadie Sink's future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe already looks rather promising, particularly considering how much time she reportedly spent filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have guarded her character's identity with extraordinary care, which usually means the secret is not merely a fun surprise but something capable of sending the entire franchise web into a frenzy.

The loudest speculation points toward Jean Grey, one of the X-Men's most powerful and important figures, while reports of a multi-film deal, including Avengers: Secret Wars, suggest that Sink could become a major part of Marvel's next chapter. With that kind of future potentially waiting in the wings, Tom Holland's "Must be nice" suddenly sounds less like a joke and more like a remarkably accurate assessment.
