The complete trailer for House of the Dragon season 3, which premieres on June 21, has officially been released by HBO. In the aftermath of the Targaryen civil war, full-blown horrific hostilities are unleashed in the trailer, which depicts a war fought on the might of the dragons coming to Westeros.

The Battle of the Gullet, which showrunner Ryan Condal has dubbed as possibly the craziest episode of television ever made, opens the season. The trailer stars Matt Smith as Daemon Targaryen, Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower, and Emma D'Arcy as Rhaenyra Targaryen. The trailer also features some new characters that will further complicate the politics of the show.

The show that makes a comeback on June 21 will release weekly episodes of the eight-episode season until the August 9 finale. The show will finally see the conflict between Rhaenyra Targaryen and the Greens leave their gloomy stone castles and take to the air. The Dance of the Dragons will now truly stand for its name, and the carnage has already been greatly hinted at.

As important as the visuals and political tension are to the show, a similar weight is shared by the cast involved.
