The Harrigans ended MobLand Episode 7 with enough bad decisions to bankrupt a London undertaker. Frankie Cooper turned the Riviera Palm Casino into a deadly trap, using Paul as bait and executing Sicily before Harry Da Souza could blink. Yet Harry flipped the roulette-table nightmare by invoking Frankie's imprisoned son, Michael.

A terrifying phone call promised trouble at Newgate Prison at 3 a.m., while Jan's killing of Donnie left another corpse awaiting disposal. Now Episode 8, We Don't Talk Anymore, collects the bill.

There are ghosts in the woods, revenge at the door, and something dreadful beneath the Cotswolds water.

Michael's death ignites another war as Mad Dog enters the picture

The episode opens in Kerry, where Colm O'Connor, better known as Medusa, is being buried. His son Kelly, nicknamed Mad Dog, has emerged from prison after serving 20 years for murder. He pours whiskey over the coffin and promises revenge. Charming family tradition. Somewhere, Eddie should be hearing the Jaws theme through the walls.

Episode 7's casino bluff also turns horrifyingly real. Newgate guards discover Michael Cooper dead. Frankie's attempt to protect his son by transferring him into solitary confinement has failed. Over a diner meal, Harry calmly explains to Kevin how a prison official was bought for a massive bribe, allowing hired men to reach Michael.

The supposedly secure wing had a price tag. Harry found the receipt. For the Harrigans, it is strategic leverage. For Frankie, it is a father losing his child. Those distinctions will matter when the shooting starts. There is another unpleasant job lingering from last week.

Harry and Kevin convince Paul that his failures have earned him an execution, then reveal the actual punishment: cutting up Donnie's decomposing remains inside a shipping container. Paul gets a chainsaw and the worst assignment in criminal employee history. Even the cleanup crew in John Wick would submit a resignation letter.

And while Harry manages bodies with terrifying efficiency, two Harrigan generations are quietly falling apart.

Conrad's haunting confession and Maeve's blackmail deepen the Harrigan nightmare

Eddie discovers that Medusa's newly released son carries the nickname Mad Dog and understands how badly his Irish expedition could backfire. Maeve continues her grotesque campaign of control. During a sauna conversation, Eddie questions their relationship, and she corners him into an apology on his knees, filming the humiliation. Her leverage collection resembles a supervillain's trophy cabinet.

Conrad reveals his family history to Eddie. Liam abused his mother, who confessed on her deathbed that his biological father was Finn Burke of Killarney. Conrad killed Liam, escaped toward Cork, and borrowed the Harrigan name from a slaughterhouse connection. His journey from wounded son to feared patriarch has left blood on every milestone.

His present is unraveling. Conrad wanders the woods, seeing dead people complete with the wounds they carried into their graves. He summons Kevin to discuss succession, prompting a grim assessment of Eddie and Seraphina. Then he confesses that the apparitions haunt him even in daylight.

Kevin responds with rare tenderness, only to return with brandy and find a shotgun aimed at his face. Conrad demands secrecy, leaving his son to swallow another family betrayal. Harry also meets Jan, who tries explaining her affair and Donnie's manipulation. Harry already knows. He offers to help Jan and Gina vanish, an unusually gentle proposal from a man who claims killing brings him no nightmares.

But outside this poisonous household, revenge is acquiring names, faces, and a terrifying destination.

Whose body is in the lake, and what does the ending mean?

Harry calls Frankie to suggest a truce. The offer lands like a funeral wreath delivered with a threatening invoice. Frankie is devastated by Michael's murder and refuses to abandon the war. When he reminds Harry that he has a daughter, the message is unmistakable: Gina is now exposed.

Unfortunately, she is already visible to another predator. Mad Dog studies footage surrounding Medusa's death, including Eddie and Gina following his father. Gina's face can be identified. Meanwhile, Maeve continues pressing her toward a staged suicide.

Three dangers circle one woman, and Harry's contingency plans suddenly look alarmingly thin. Then the police investigation sharpens. Colin Tattersall tells Kavanagh that an unnamed informant has potentially decisive information concerning the Harrigans' Cotswolds estate.

He believes it could provide the evidence needed to damage the family. The final montage cuts between Frankie nursing his grief, Mad Dog studying his targets, and Eddie skipping stones across the estate lake. Below the surface lies a weighted corpse. Who is it?

The episode refuses to identify the victim. JoJo is one theory raised by commentators, although neither that possibility nor the informant's identity has been confirmed. The body could become the evidence that finally cracks Conrad's empire.

With the November 20 finale approaching, the Harrigans face a perfect storm of family secrets, vengeance, and police scrutiny. The dead might finally have their revenge.
