The rain-slicked streets of London are already carrying the scars of the Harrigan family war when MobLand Season 2, Episode 2 begins. Episode 1 left Conrad and Maeve back in the open, Kevin defying his father, Jan filing for divorce, and Harry discovering that Kat McAllister had entered the fight. Tattersall had also found the weapon he wanted in Frankie Cooper.

Seraphina was quietly aligned with Kat while Harry struggled to keep his family from breaking apart. With enemies closing in from several directions, the Harrigans entered Episode 2.

Under a grey London sky, Harry watches Gina and Eddie from a distance, worried about his daughter being pulled deeper into the criminal world. Eddie has been running a protection scam against YouTube influencers, with Gina helping him, while Maeve wants the relationship broken apart.

Harry meets Jan in a park and tries to talk about their daughter, but Jan tells him that Harry himself is the poison in her life. Their marriage is hanging by a thread as the criminal world closes in. Jan also meets Jamie, the American driver who deliberately crashes into her car. He offers cash for the damage and begins testing the waters for a closer relationship.

Episode 2 later reveals that Jamie is connected to Kat’s operation and serves as Seraphina’s contact. Conrad faces a threat inside his own mind. A doctor tells him that focal atrophy is affecting judgment, instinct and restraint. Conrad refuses to accept the warning and then threatens a parking officer over a ticket.

Maeve creates another mystery when she secretly brings a vet to inspect Conrad’s dogs and pushes for information about poisoning. The answer points toward antifreeze. Meanwhile, DCI Kavanagh suspects a police mole after the witness from Conrad’s dog-track massacre retracts his statement. The Harrigans are surrounded from every direction, but the architect remains hidden behind another man’s operation.

That operation now moves into the hands of Frankie Cooper.

Tattersall meets Frankie in a nail salon, an immaculate setting for a conversation about dismantling an empire. Kat has given Tattersall permission to put his chosen weapon into motion, and Frankie immediately proves difficult to control. He questions the assignment to destroy Harry, prompting Tattersall to remind him that enough evidence exists to put him away for life. Frankie answers with a threat involving Tattersall’s wife, making their partnership feel rooted in leverage.

Tattersall explains his strategy through François Ravaillac, the Catholic zealot who assassinated French King Henry IV in 1610. Ravaillac was later executed through drawing and quartering. Tattersall turns that history into a blueprint for Harry’s destruction. Frankie does not need to attack Harry directly. He needs to pull apart the people surrounding him.

Tattersall discusses Harry’s potential weak points, and Bella emerges as a route into Harry’s defenses because of her feelings toward him and her place inside the Harrigan family. Frankie is given names, relationships and vulnerabilities, turning personal connections into targets.

Meanwhile, Conrad and Maeve invite Seraphina to dinner under the guise of reconciliation. Seraphina accepts cautiously, then contacts Jamie, who warns her to stay away. The decision matters because Maeve is also preparing her own contingency involving Conrad’s dogs and the knowledge she extracted from the vet.

Harry visits Bella to discuss Gina and Eddie. Their conversation carries the awkwardness created by Bella’s attraction to Harry and Kevin’s insecurity. Harry leaves without realizing that Bella has already been selected as a target. The pieces are positioned across London, and Frankie has enough information to strike.

What follows is the night when Tattersall’s theory becomes a coordinated assault.

The final stretch of the episode turns rain-soaked London into a battlefield. Several attacks unfold almost simultaneously, stretching the Harrigans across multiple fronts. At a pub, Fergus is approached by a man who pretends to need directions. A masked attacker emerges from a van and shoots him at point-blank range. Paul is nearby as the attack begins.

At Gina and Eddie’s flat, masked men move in with lethal intent. Harry is already watching from outside, and his surveillance allows him to intervene. He fires at the attackers and checks that Gina and Eddie have survived before leaving. A separate group attacks Zosia’s location and takes her away, removing another person connected to Harry’s network.

Bella becomes the crucial target. Armed men storm her home and destroy the security outside. She escapes into the basement while Kevin tries to reach her by phone. Frankie eventually finds her, gun raised, after the other attackers have cleared the house.

Across town, Conrad and Maeve wait for Seraphina at a restaurant. She was warned by Jamie to stay away, leaving the Harrigans confused about her absence. Then Conrad receives a call at the restaurant phone. Frankie is on the other end, standing over Bella, and delivers a single word: “Bang.”

Bella’s fate remains unresolved, but the chain behind the assault is clear. Kat authorized Tattersall to activate his plan. Tattersall recruited Frankie and supplied him with the information needed to attack Harry through his closest connections. Some individual attackers remain unidentified, yet the broader operation points toward Kat’s campaign against the Harrigans.

Maeve has a separate agenda, Seraphina is feeding information from inside the family, and Harry is still trying to protect people he loves while his marriage falls apart. The war has now moved beyond threats and manipulation. Frankie has shown the Harrigans that every relationship around them can become a weapon.
