Some people color outside the lines; Millie Bobby Brown seems to wonder who drew the lines in the first place. Thrust into global fame at just 11 through Stranger Things, Brown skipped a traditional school life and has openly said it left her more comfortable around adults than classmates. She has also fiercely defended her right to grow up on her own terms, even keeping social media off her personal phone to protect her peace. Predictable has never been part of her résumé.
That wonderfully unconventional streak even follows Brown into GTA, where her gameplay choices are delightfully unlike what most players would expect.

During an appearance on Josh Horowitz's Happy Sad Confused, Millie Bobby Brown confessed to playing Grand Theft Auto in the most unexpectedly wholesome way imaginable. Instead of speeding through intersections and mowing down pedestrians, Brown patiently stops at red lights, obeys traffic laws, and drives like she is preparing for a licensing exam. Somewhere, a virtual police officer is quietly applauding.
"My husband's like, ' Why are you playing this like it's Sims?'" Brown laughed, recalling Jake Bongiovi's bewildered reaction. Brown also admitted that her passion for GTA, which is her all-time favorite game, genuinely surprised Bongiovi when they first started dating. She is eagerly awaiting the next installment, although her version of Los Santos will probably still feature orderly intersections, courteous driving, and criminals wondering why somebody is actually following the traffic code.

Later in Josh Horowitz's Happy Sad Confused conversation, Millie Bobby Brown revealed that her unusual approach goes beyond careful driving. Although the game casts players as criminals, Brown prefers imagining herself as a vigilante instead of a hitman. It is an impressively optimistic rewrite that somehow makes Grand Theft Auto sound like a neighborhood watch program with better vehicles.
While Millie Bobby Brown has a far calmer approach to GTA, her love for the franchise and a few carefully chosen games has never been a secret, unlike Eleven's fate, which she had to keep under wraps.
Why Millie Bobby Brown can get a certified gamer
If anybody still doubted Millie Bobby Brown's gamer credentials, her playlist settles the debate rather quickly. Brown is just as happy constructing dream homes in The Sims 4 as she is actually living in them through her characters. She has even built a virtual veterinary clinic, proving that digital real estate can apparently be just as satisfying as saving the world.
Competitive gaming, however, is where Brown writes her own rulebook. In Fortnite, Brown freely admits that lightning-fast reflexes are not her specialty, so she embraces the art of bush camping instead. She patiently hides until only a handful of players remain before handing the controller to a more experienced teammate to finish the match. Survival, after all, counts just as much as style.

Brown also unwinds with Travel Town, a mobile puzzle game she enjoys for its thoughtful merge mechanics and surprisingly strategic gameplay. Whether she is designing neighborhoods, outlasting opponents through sheer patience, or solving puzzles, Brown clearly enjoys games on her own terms. That perhaps explains why even GTA becomes unexpectedly wholesome once she picks up the controller.
