Jordan has already been blending his anime influences into his filmmaking, particularly while shaping Creed III. For the boxing sequences, he drew from fight styles featured in Naruto, My Hero Academia, and Hajime no Ippo, turning animated inspiration into physical choreography. Speaking to Vogue, Jordan made it clear that anime is not simply something he watches between projects; it is increasingly part of how he creates.

In a 2025 interview with Vulture, Jordan revealed that he is eager to find an anime property he can adapt into live action and direct himself.
