Even though he is someone who holds his cards close to his chest, in an interview with GQ in 2025, he opened up more about his personal life, dating, and whether he has any plans to find someone special.

During an interview with GQ to promote his movie Sinners, Michael B. Jordan clarified that he is not interested in speaking much about his love life. Although he did not reveal many details, Jordan shared that his last relationship lasted for a year. And he believes that things will work out when the timing is right.

“I’m not tripping over it,” he said.

“I’m so work-focused. I would want somebody to fit into the flow of my life, of where I am. And that’s timing, right? You can meet the right person, and be at the wrong time, and it just doesn’t work out."

Recently, he was spotted with actress Taylor Russell. However, that too was likely work-related, as they were in talks to star in the 2027 remake of The Thomas Crown Affair before Russell left the project. Clearly, the actor is more focused on his work, and considering his busy schedule after the success of Sinners, that focus may not change this year either.
