Will Alfie Allen’s new character change the entire game in The Institute Season 2?
MGM+ has officially cast Game of Thrones alum Alfie Allen in Season 2 of The Institute, its thriller-horror series based on Stephen King’s novel. According to Deadline, Allen will play Nolan Reeves, described as an eccentric European tech billionaire who is also one of the Institute’s key financial backers.
Reeves is not just a wealthy figure funding the organization from the shadows; he reportedly has an ambitious agenda of his own. That detail alone makes his arrival especially intriguing, since Season 2 will already be dealing with the fallout from the Season 1 finale and the survivors’ efforts to expose the Institute’s crimes while staying one step ahead of ki----- hunting them down.
Meanwhile, Mary-Louise Parker’s ruthless Ms. Sigsby is also set to return, with Season 2 following her pursuit of vengeance and her attempt to regain power while uncovering deeper secrets about the Institute than she ever expected.
Allen joins returning cast members Joe Freeman (Luke Ellis), Ben Barnes (Tim Jamieson), Simone Miller, Fionn Laird, Robert Joy, Arlen So, Jeff Fahey, and Hannah Galway.
With The Institute’s secrets beginning to unravel, could Nolan Reeves be the missing piece that makes the organization even more untouchable?
