Hollywood icons Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway will make their first appearance on the popular South Korean talk-variety show You Quiz on the Block as a part of their global promotion tour for The Devil Wears Prada 2. Not only is it an international marketing effort, but also a moment of entertainment worlds colliding to create a cultural bridge between global storytelling traditions. The stars will join the nation's beloved MC, Yoo Jae-suk, as esteemed guests on the show.

The South Korean variety show You Quiz on the Block presents an unconventional approach to celebrity interviews. It is not a typical talk show as the show proceeds at a slow pace to create a conversational atmosphere, which enables reflections of life stories and memories while also being lighthearted and fun. According to recent reports, Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway would arrive in Seoul on April 8, 2026, to promote their upcoming film The Devil Wears Prada 2.

In an upcoming April episode of the show, the two global megastars will appear together during their promo tour, which includes Tokyo, Shanghai, London, and Mexico City. They will discuss their new film with Yoo Jae-suk, and reports suggest that the anticipation for an in-depth interview is high, given the show's previous criticisms for subtitle errors and insubstantial questions in the presence of foreign celebrities.

"Through various events in Korea, we will tell a variety of stories about the sequel that returned after 20 years. We will provide unforgettable memories by sharing a meaningful moment when the legend of the Runway begins again," the duo's team stated to Star News while confirming their You Quiz appearance.

The appearance becomes special because it marks Streep's first visit to South Korea for a movie promotion and Hathaway's first since 2018. Fashion and cinema across the borders are set to create a cultural exchange on tvN's You Quiz on the Block, which airs every Wednesday at 8:45 PM KST. However, Streep and Hathaway are not the first Tinseltown celebs to appear on the show.
