Meghan Markle’s Latest Business Venture Draws Inspiration From Her Children, With a Nod to Royal Titles

Meghan Markle seems to be back on the saddle after recent setbacks, both on the business and personal side. As Ever is growing beyond jams, honeys, and teas in the first significant launch for Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex's company, since its split from Netflix. It is launching a Mother's Day collection that will feature two new products, but the main draw is the Duchess's personal touch to the items.

According to reports, Meghan Markle’s new launch will heavily draw upon her children and their royal titles.

Meghan Markle's lifestyle brand, As Ever, will be launching two candles on April 22 inspired by the Duchess’s kids, which are among the new items in her Mother’s Day collection: Signature Candle No. 506, which honors Prince Archie's birthday on May 5, and Signature Candle No. 604, which honors Princess Lilibet's birthday on June 4.

With elements of ginger, neroli, and cashmere, the Prince Archie candle is described as having a warm, comforting scent that infuses the room with a gentle, reassuring calm. In contrast, the light, flowery aroma of the Princess Lilibet candle, which is designed to inspire daydreams in the garden, will bring a feeling of brightness and openness to the living space with notes of amber, water lily, and santal.

The selling price of both candles is said to be $56. Three bundles, including a $156 package that combines a new chocolate partnership with Los Angeles-based Compartés with personalized matchboxes highlighted by candles inspired by the birthdates of Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex, are also included in the Mother's Day drop.

Meghan Markle’s new launch seems to be a way to connect her customers more intimately to the personal aspect of her life, and integrating Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s birthdays into the newly launched candles is just an example of this endeavor. This new launch and the strengthening ties with the Netflix CEO are a reprieve for the Duchess amid recent tough times.
