Meghan Markle on Motherhood, Business, and Why As Ever’s Next Chapter Is ‘Very Special’

Meghan Markle is about to transform the living room into a sensory sanctuary with a reveal that goes far beyond the kitchen pantry.  Ever since the Duchess launched her initial lifestyle brand, As Ever, the world has buzzed over her artisanal strawberry jams and elegant kitchenware. These early releases established a foundation of curated domesticity that felt both refined and accessible. However, her newest venture hints at a more intimate narrative, moving from the breakfast table to the soulful corners of the home, and explaining why the new products are special.

The Duchess is now ready to unveil how the personal space can reflect both beauty and emotional connection.

Town & Country has exclusively confirmed that this week, As Ever will lean into expanded fragrance, gifts, and apothecary offerings. The brand plans to focus more broadly on gifting in the future, moving beyond its culinary roots. This shift marks a significant milestone in Meghan Markle’s vision for a comprehensive lifestyle experience.

"The goal for As Ever has always been finding ways we can bring beauty and ease to your life, as a host, as a guest, as a friend, as a mom", Meghan Markle told Town & Country.

She notes that while the journey began with a single pot of jam, the collection is now ready to grace other rooms. The Duchess expressed immense pride in the creative journey as the brand enters this new chapter.

““In whatever way you show up, I want As ever to make it feel special. It began with a pot of jam, and a collection for your kitchen and now we are excited that the collection will soon expand into other parts of your home. It’s a very special time and I’m proud of what we are creating”, Meghan Markle noted.

The first release under this new direction arrives this Wednesday, April 22, just in time for Mother’s Day celebrations. This launch arrives perfectly timed for the May 10 holiday, offering curated items designed for celebration.

In addition to the new era, personal milestones are becoming the aromatic centerpiece of this highly anticipated seasonal collection.

Signature scents inspired by family

The collection introduces two candles named after Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, priced at $64 each. Signature Candle No. 506 offers a comforting blend of ginger and neroli to honor Archie’s May birthday. Meanwhile, Candle No. 604 captures Lilibet’s June energy with light notes of amber and water lily.

Beyond fragrance, the brand is debuting a collaboration with Compartes featuring caramel chocolate adorned with marigold sprinkles. These sweets are packaged in a stunning blue floral box designed for aesthetic appeal. These new items join existing candles that commemorate Meghan Markle's own birthday and her wedding anniversary with Prince Harry.
