Meghan Markle’s team-up with Malala Yousafzai, shining a powerful spotlight on the ongoing fight for universal girls’ education, has become official now. When global figures with distinct platforms and powerful voices come together in pursuit of a shared vision, their alliances often spark widespread cultural and philanthropic impact. While public interactions between prominent activists and high-profile change-makers are frequently kept behind closed doors, a recent gathering in London brought two influential advocates together over afternoon tea to champion a cause of vital global importance.
Solidifying an inspiring partnership dedicated entirely to advancing empowerment and learning for young women worldwide, Meghan Markle officially shared a glimpse into her recent London meetup with Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai.

Meghan Markle is offering an inside look at her recent London outing with activist Malala Yousafzai through a fresh batch of photos. On Sunday, October 11, the Duchess of Sussex and the activist uploaded images via a joint Instagram post capturing their October 7 meetup in the U.K. capital - marking Meghan Markle's first public sighting in London since her move back to Britain.
As they introduced a new collaboration between their non-profit organizations and Markle's lifestyle brand As Ever, the couple stated in the combined caption:
“When we support the girls of today, we empower the women of tomorrow. Access to education is the key to unlocking this.”

The joint Instagram message further announced a significant philanthropic initiative in honor of International Day of the Girl. In partnership with Archewell Philanthropies - the nonprofit organization founded by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, formerly known as the Archewell Foundation - it was revealed that 100% of the net proceeds from As Ever jams and teas will go directly to support the Malala Fund and its mission to secure free, safe, and quality education for girls worldwide.
This latest collaboration builds on a longstanding relationship between the advocates. Back in October 2020, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate previously teamed up for a virtual panel discussion celebrating International Day of the Girl, where they emphasized the critical need for global educational access.
The latest post with the first glimpse of their official meeting comes after their initial meet-and-greet.

The recent meetup follows initial photos published by PEOPLE that captured the pair arriving outside Claridge’s on Wednesday, October 7. The outing marked the Duchess’ first public appearance in London since she, Prince Harry, and their children - Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet - relocated back to Britain on August 26.
