Meghan Markle’s Anniversary Mood Board Gets Dubbed "narcissistic" by Royal Expert Who Questioned Her Celebration Choice

Meghan Markle cannot catch a break. In 2018, her life took a massive U-turn when she entered the royal halls as the new bride of Prince Harry, and after that, it has never been the same. Finding herself in the middle of public and media scrutiny every other day, Markle has spent the best part of the last decade running away from those who throw spears at her and do not shy away from attacking her for extremely personal moments and choices.

The Duchess of Sussex, who recently shared her 7-year anniversary with a sweet message picturing a lovely mood board, is now being attacked by a royal expert for this choice.

Recently, a royal expert, Matt Wilkinson, spoke to The Sun, where he gave his two cents on Meghan Markle’s board choice, calling it a "narcissistic way of doing things to celebrate an anniversary.” According to Wilkinson, this was Markle’s way of showing the world a manufactured happiness. He put forward the question that if they really were as happy as she makes out, she would not need to tell anyone, adding, “That's what it smacks of to me.”

The expert also called Markle so Californian in everything she does, debating that he had never heard of someone doing a mood board for a wedding anniversary. Joining him in this theory was another royal expert, Hugo Vickers, according to whom Markle wants to put out the message that all is well and that they are a happy and united family. This, he feels, had the world spiral and left “the rest of us to make up our minds as to whether we go along with it." Clearly, some wild sentiments have been triggered by an innocent anniversary post of Markle.
