The royal couple is celebrating Princess Lilibet’s birthday, and the joyous occasion begins with an awe-inspiring Instagram post.

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, celebrated her daughter Princess Lilibet's fifth birthday on June 4 by showcasing her stunning ginger hair, just like her father, Prince Harry, in a recent Instagram photo. The first picture in the carousel depicts Lilibet in the arms of her father, Prince Harry, as her mother watches with a gentle smile. 

The second is a charming photo of Lilibet strolling barefoot in what looks to be their Montecito home's garden. In both pictures, Lilibet's long hair is worn loose, and she is dressed in a charming, embroidered sundress. Lilibet's hair deliberately fell to cover her face, just as Markle has done with her previous internet pictures of her kids, keeping their faces hidden from the world.

"Our dream girl. Happy 5th birthday, Lili," the Duchess captioned the images alongside a heart emoji. 

The youngest daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Lilibet, sometimes known as Lili, was born in California on June 4, 2021. In honor of her grandmother, Princess Diana, and her great-grandmother, the late Queen, she was given the name Lilibet Diana. Interestingly, she is seventh in line for the throne but has been to the UK only once in her life.

The Instagram post is the latest feature in the long line of Markle’s social media dumps of her children.

Meghan Markle's Instagram feed, which she started in 2025, features several glimpses of her children, including family moments and significant occasions like a trip to Disneyland last month. After the birth of their eldest one, Archie, the royal couple stepped away from their royal lives and are raising their children away from the spotlight. 

Markle also gave Lilibet a shout-out in an Instagram post on May 16 while she was packing for a trip to Switzerland. Princess Lilibet’s birthday offers the Sussexes a break from the constant rumors of a silent Hollywood boycott from the industry’s elites. For now, the focus has shifted to Markle’s Instagram post wishing her daughter Lilibet a happy birthday.
