Netflix has officially renewed Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen for Season 3, expanding its aristocratic underworld with fresh faces and dangerous new business. The crime drama is trading country estates for increasingly ambitious criminal ventures, where a polished suit can conceal a ruthless operator and every handshake carries a price.

With production underway in the United Kingdom and Morocco, the next chapter promises another round of high-stakes deals. Now, as Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass pursue an ambitious casino venture in the Middle East, eight new actors are joining the fray.

Netflix has assembled an eclectic lineup of established screen veterans, fantasy-film favorites, and performers with connections to Guy Ritchie’s cinematic universe.

Robert Carlyle: Best known for playing the volatile Begbie in Trainspotting and starring in The Full Monty, Carlyle brings considerable experience portraying unpredictable, hard-edged characters.

Elijah Wood: The actor who became globally recognized as Frodo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings has since explored darker territory in projects such as Yellowjackets and Come to Daddy.

Orlando Bloom: Another Lord of the Rings veteran, Bloom is also known for the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. His reunion with Wood marks an intriguing connection to their fantasy-film past.

Dexter Fletcher: The actor and filmmaker appeared in Ritchie’s crime classic Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. He also directed Rocketman and Bohemian Rhapsody.

Bruna Marquezine: The Brazilian actor appeared in DC’s Blue Beetle, bringing international screen experience to the expanding ensemble.

Ed Speleers: Known for Downton Abbey, Outlander, and You, Speleers has experience navigating both period drama and contemporary thrillers.

Saffron Burrows: The actor has appeared in You, Boston Legal, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, demonstrating her range across crime, legal drama, and science fiction.

Bugzy Malone: The British rapper and actor previously appeared in Ritchie’s Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, making his return to the filmmaker’s world a familiar collaboration, as per Netflix Tudum.

“Dead and Buried”- Meghan Markle’s ‘The Gentlemen’ Casting Rumor Gets a Cheeky Response From Vinnie Jones

The new arrivals join returning stars, Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Jasmine Blackborow, Harry Goodwins, Benjamin Clementine, and Maya Jama. But there is one face missing.

Why Daniel Ings’ exit could change everything

The casting announcement also comes with a significant departure. Daniel Ings will not return as Freddy Horniman, Eddie’s chaotic older brother whose volatile decisions helped drive the second season toward darker territory. In an interview with HATC Magazine, Ings described his character’s ending as a form of closure, suggesting Freddy’s story has reached its conclusion.

His absence could leave a considerable gap in the show’s blend of criminal menace and absurdist comedy. Freddy’s disastrous choices complicated Eddie’s efforts to control the family empire, making their fractured relationship an important emotional counterweight to the business negotiations. With Eddie and Susie pursuing an even more ambitious venture, Season 3 will need new sources of conflict to maintain that volatile balance.

Meghan Markle, who was rumored to be in preliminary discussions for a role, is also no longer expected to join the series. Netflix has not announced a release date for Season 3.

With a formidable new ensemble and an expanding criminal operation, The Gentlemen has plenty of room to raise the stakes.
