As Tell Me Lies kicks off its third season on January 13, 2026, the world is bracing itself for nothing less than the usual pack of Baird College kids with their dramatic secrets, broken relationships, and much more to come. The show, which is based on Carola Lovering's book, added depth to its wider ensemble by expanding beyond the source, enhancing the passion, betrayals, and emotional wreckage.

Tramps star Grace Van Patten, returning as Lucy Albright, and Pet Sematary: Bloodlines star Jackson White as Stephen DeMarco, the main pair of the series with their enthralling but fraught love story, remain the very heart of the show. Their rekindled, poisonous love accelerates during the spring semester at Baird this season.

Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco are still the focal point around which the group revolves, as the other characters from previous seasons join them once again. Catherine Missal returns as Bree, Lucy’s trustworthy ally and best friend in college, who is trying to recover emotionally. Spencer House also comes back as Mike Wrigley, Sonia Mena as Pippa, and Branden Cook as Evan, Tom Ellis as Professor Oliver, whose lives have been entangled differently through the various seasons. 

Alicia Crowder will once more take the role of Diana, Stephen's on-off college girlfriend, thus increasing the tension and conflict within the group's interactions. In addition to these returning characters, several new characters are introduced this season. According to Deadline, Iris Apatow will play the cheerful and fragile college freshman Amanda, who will reveal a major secret.

Costa D’Angelo will also join the cast, per the outlet, as Alex, a psychology student and part-time drug dealer. As the plot thickens, his complicated past with Bree comes to light in Tell Me Lies Season 3, which will be streaming soon.

When is Tell Me Lies Season 3 releasing?

Hulu’s famous drama series Tell Me Lies returns with Season 3 on January 13, 2026. The show, which camped at the streamer's Top 15 for 50 days straight, got its first sizzling trailer on December 17, 2025. It began with Lucy recording an apology video and confirming her and Stephen's patch-up.

The show will stream its first two episodes on Hulu and on Disney+ with the Hulu on Disney+ bundle on its highly anticipated premiere day. Each of its eight episodes roll out weekly until the epic finale on February 24, 2026.

“Everything’s coming to a head, and everything’s getting more and more tangled and intertwined," Grace Van Patten revealed to PEOPLE while teasing the plot of this tense season.
