Hulu has a new nightmare on the loose, and this k***** isn’t playing by the rules. Furious throws an FBI agent into a twisted hunt for a female serial k*****, where every clue pulls her deeper into a game far more personal than she expected. Created by Elizabeth Meriwether, the psychological thriller brings together a stacked cast for a dark battle of obsession, vengeance, and survival.

But before the hunt turns into something much darker, here’s who is hiding behind the faces driving Hulu’s latest obsession.

Set to premiere on 27th July 2026, on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally, the series is led by Emmy Rossum as FBI Agent Alice Black, a determined investigator whose pursuit of a mysterious k***** forces her to confront demons of her own. Lola Petticrew plays Catherine, the elusive woman at the center of the k, while Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Scoot McNairy, Jake Lacy, and Rob Yang round out the core ensemble. Several recognizable names bring years of acclaimed film and television work to the thriller, making the cast just as intriguing as the mystery surrounding its k*****.

1. Emmy Rossum as FBI Agent Alice Black- She is best known for playing Fiona Gallagher in Shameless. She has also appeared in The Phantom of the Opera, The Day After Tomorrow, and Peacock’s Angelyne.

2. Lola Petticrew as Catherine- Petticrew was seen as Dolours Price in FX/Disney+’s Say Nothing. Their other credits include Dating Amber and Three Families.

3. Quincy Tyler Bernstine as FBI Agent Nora Washington- Bernstine is known for playing Tameika Robinson in Power. She has also appeared in Luke Cage, The Good Wife, and The InBESTigators.

4. Scoot McNairy as Det. Danny Kelly- McNairy has been seen in Narcos: Mexico, True Detective Season 3, and Halt and Catch Fire. His film credits include Argo and Gone Girl.

5. Jake Lacy as Marshall- Lacy is best known for playing Shane Patton in The White Lotus, earning an Emmy nomination for the role. He has also starred in A Friend of the Family and The Office.

6. Rob Yang as FBI Agent Frank Choi- Yang is widely recognized for playing Lawrence Yee in HBO’s Succession. He has also appeared in The Resident and American Rust.

7. Rob Delaney as Oliver Charles- Delaney co-created and starred in Catastrophe. More recently, he appeared in Deadpool & Wolverine, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, and Black Mirror’s Joan Is Awful.

And while the faces may look familiar, the story they’re stepping into is anything but comfortable.

The series follows a Halloween night when a cat-masked Catherine m***** wealthy businessman Caleb Easton and disguises it as a fentanyl overdose, kicking off a deadly trail of carefully staged k*******. But Catherine is not chasing random victims. She targets powerful men linked to the abuse and exploitation of vulnerable girls, with the suspicious death of her childhood friend Isabel driving her revenge. As FBI Agent Alice Black follows the trail through stolen identities, a women’s shelter, and a chilling red-poppy tattoo, she discovers Catherine has been building a personal hit list for years.

Alice is already battling PTSD and an a****** ex, Detective Marshall, when Catherine’s k******* forces her to question the justice system she represents. What follows is less a standard serial-k***** chase and more a collision between two women fueled by the same rage, with Furious using the Greek Furies as a backdrop for its themes of trauma, vengeance, and failed justice. 

As the Furious brings a familiar cat-and-mouse setup with a cast filled with faces from Shameless, Succession, The White Lotus and more, Hulu’s thriller has plenty of reasons to keep viewers watching.
