Inde Navarrette’s career graph has taken a huge jump after her starring role in Curry Barker’s Obsession. After appearing in projects like Superman & Lois and 13 Reasons Why, she has finally made her mark with her phenomenal performance in this record-breaking horror flick. And as it happens with any other breakout star, she has also begun to be cast into possible superhero roles by fans, especially after she met with Jake Schreier, who is currently helming the new X-Men movie for the MCU.

There are quite a few openings for her in the X-Men universe if the director is seriously considering her for a role.

Fans have been rallying on the internet to cast Inde Navarrette as the Black Cat, aka Felicia Hardy. In the MCU, she has a complex relationship with Spider-Man and can be a pivotal character even outside the X-Men universe. Felicia is known for her unique powers of bad luck, which she uses in her life as a master thief.

She can also be considered for another character with the same cat surname.

Shadowcat

The Obsession actress can also play Shadowcat, who also goes by the name Kitty Pryde, a mutant in the X-Men series. She can send a person's consciousness back in time and become intangible by using her ability to phase through solid stuff. Professor X recruited Kitty, the youngest X-Men member, after she showed courage by rescuing the X-Men from the Hellfire Club.

The actress can also be cast into more established characters that have appeared frequently in the live-action versions.

Mystique

Mystique is an iconic character in the X-Men series, played by Rebecca Romijn and Jennifer Lawrence, respectively. Both actresses made a lasting impact with the character, which will make it difficult for Inde Navarrette to make the character her own. However, the character has many layers due to the complexity with which the character is written in the source material. Therefore, she may find a unique and fresh angle for her version of the character.

Rogue

Whenever there is a mention of Rogue from X-Men, Anna Paquin’s image comes to mind with her half-silver and half-raven-colored hair. She has been the point of reference for the character for so long that it is hard to imagine any other actress in the role. This will certainly be a daunting challenge for Inde Navarrette, but she has displayed the caliber to overcome this easily. However, there has been a rumor of another actress being in the running for the role.
