Marvel has quite an eventful year lined up, kicking off with the success of Wonder Man. It will continue with the arrival of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. While the excitement is evident for both, many have long been eager to see Spider-Man and Daredevil reunite on screen.

And swirling rumors suggest Marvel could finally be preparing to make this long-awaited crossover moment. 

According to insider Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus, Marvel Studios is reportedly planning to bring several heroes together to share one screen. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and the Punisher are said to join forces to fight against Mayor Wilson Fisk, who is also expected to appear in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Excitingly, both Spider-Man and Daredevil are rumored to be part of this team-up as well.

"The idea would be to feature street-level heroes from NYC affected by Fisk’s reign of terror against vigilantes, and we would see the likes of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Punisher, and more team up to take down Wilson Fisk and his enforcers in a final bout against the regime,” the comment read.

This could serve as an epilogue to the new 'DEVIL'S REIGN' storyline as per Cosmic Circus' Alex Perez. As of now, fans must wait for an official update to confirm the rumors. But until the crossover happens or any update is shared by Marvel, fans will still have plenty to look forward to this year with the two big releases.

While there have been updates on Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, details of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day have not been released with Marvel skipping the Superbowl trailer release. However, recently, there has been an update on Tramell Tillman’s character in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day has kept its details tightly secured. The same can be said about the details surrounding Tramell Tillman’s character in the movie. However, Nexus Point News recently reported that the actor will portray the obscure X-Men villain William Metzger.

This signals a dark and intriguing turn in the story. For those unfamiliar, the character first appeared in X-Men: Children of the Atom issue 1, where he led the Anti-Mutant Militia and was against the X-Men. He was a formidable opponent before ultimately being killed by Magneto.

If these rumors are true, Marvel’s heroes may be heading toward their most explosive clash yet.
