Margot Robbie is trading Barbie’s pink dreamhouse for the glittering criminal underworld of 1960s Europe in the upcoming Ocean’s 11 prequel. She stars opposite Bradley Cooper as Danny Ocean’s mother, with the pair playing master con artists plotting an elaborate heist around the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix. 

Directed and co-written by Cooper, the film will bring together Robbie, Wagner Moura, Monica Barbaro, Omar Sy, and George MacKay for a stylish period caper. Robbie is also producing through LuckyChap alongside Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara, Milan Popelka, and Cooper, with Warner Bros. Pictures scheduling the theatrical release for June 25, 2027.

Margot Robbie is about to discover that bigger can indeed be better, starring in Tim Burton’s remake of the 1958 cult classic Attack of the 50 Foot Woman. The story follows a wealthy heiress who encounters an alien, grows to 50 feet, and turns her newfound scale into revenge against her unfaithful husband.

Warner Bros. faces a ticking clock to finalize deals before the film rights revert to Mattel, while Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav has reportedly rejected proposed profit-sharing terms. Robbie has also suggested the original film left little unexplored, making a sequel feel like an especially ambitious return to Barbie Land.

Margot Robbie is keeping her hands on the controls for the live-action The Sims adaptation, although she is producing rather than starring. Through LuckyChap Entertainment, Robbie is producing alongside Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara, Sophia Kerr, Roy Lee, and Miri Yoon, with Amazon MGM Studios and Electronic Arts involved.

Kate Herron is directing and co-writing the film with Briony Redman, which remains in development without a release date or confirmed cast. The adaptation is expected to embrace the game’s wonderfully chaotic history, potentially bringing Simlish and the infamous ladder-less pools to the big screen.

Margot Robbie is rolling the dice on another major game-to-film venture, with LuckyChap Entertainment developing a live-action Monopoly movie alongside Lionsgate and Hasbro Entertainment. Robbie is producing with Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara, following the staggering success of Barbie, which crossed $1.4 billion worldwide.

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the filmmakers behind Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and Game Night, are attached to write the screenplay. The project has no release date or plot details yet, but it arrives after more than a decade of Hollywood attempts to get the famously property-hoarding board game onto the big screen.

Written by Jimmy Warden the film is being produced by Robbie and Tom Ackerley through LuckyChap Entertainment. Universal Pictures has set the comedy for November 2027, giving Robbie another Christmas-season project with plenty of courtroom absurdity and North Pole mischief.

Margot Robbie is backing a decidedly less sparkly side of athletic ambition with Nasty, Mary Bronstein’s psychological sports drama starring Jenna Ortega and Rose Byrne. Ortega plays a gifted young gymnast chasing an Olympic spot, only to discover that her demanding coach may be her biggest hurdle.

Written by Isabella Jarosz, whose script landed on the 2024 Black List, the film reunites Bronstein and Byrne after If I Had Legs I'd Kick You. Robbie and Ortega are producing through LuckyChap, with Clockwork distributing the film theatrically in 2027 after production begins in the fall.

Margot Robbie is adding another decidedly unconventional project to her producing slate with My Year of Rest and Relaxation, Rose Glass’ adaptation of Ottessa Moshfegh’s bestselling novel. The filmmaker takes over from Yorgos Lanthimos, while Moshfegh remains involved as co-screenwriter on the darkly satirical story.

Set in Manhattan around 2000 and 2001, the story follows a wealthy young woman who attempts to sleep through an entire year using drugs, confronting grief, isolation, and self-destruction along the way. Robbie’s LuckyChap is adapting, making it another intriguingly unpredictable addition to Robbie's already growing producer’s slate.
