Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor – Reprising his chilling take on Luthor, Hoult reshapes the villain into a reluctant ally, a calculating mind forced into cooperation against a greater threat.

James Gunn's DC Universe is accelerating into high gear, with CinemaCon 2026 unveiling a stacked slate to fuel Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters—just three projects out as of April 2026, with  Creature Commandos and Peacemaker on Max and Superman on the big screen. The pipeline now teems with heroes, horrors, and team-ups. First up is Supergirl, which crash-lands on June 26, 2026. 

Clayface slithers in September 11 or late October, directed by James Watkins. Tom Rhys Harries stars as Matt Hagen, a disfigured actor mutated into a malleable monster via illicit experiments. 2027 delivers Man of Tomorrow July 9, Gunn's Superman sequel uniting Corenswet's hero and Hoult's Luthor against Brainiac. Matt Reeves' The Batman - Part II comes on October 1 with Pattinson's brooding vigilante
