This recent announcement regarding the $2.1 billion film franchise’s new image
is a cherry on top of the teaser, which was released a few days ago. The teaser
made it apparent that things were looking gloomy for humanity, who could be seen
scurrying and cowering throughout. The fourth installment of the Planet of the
Apes trilogy will be taking place several generations after 2017’s War for the
Planet of the Apes.

The movie’s announcement sparked a lot of excitement, as it was making a
comeback after seven long years. In fact, the reaction was so overwhelming that
the president of marketing at The Walt Disney Studios and Disney+ released a
statement expressing his shock.

KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES GARNERS UNPRECEDENTED LOVE

The upcoming installment of the science fiction action movie has a new director
at the forefront, and that is Wes Ball. The anticipation surrounding the movie
can be clearly seen given that the movie’s trailer crossed the 100 million views
mark on the very first day of its release. Further witnessing the response, the
marketing president of Walt Disney Studios and Disney+, Asad Ayad, released a
statement through Variety showing his gratitude to the audience as well as the
creators.

The president went on to say that “from the excitement and anticipation to the
speculation surrounding new characters and settings,” it is clear that the
audience is ecstatic to see this masterpiece made by Wes Balls and 20th Century
Studios. Due to the delays created by the Hollywood strikes, the film creators
were unsure whether it would get the reaction it did, but the Freya Allan
starrer seems to be on the right track.
