Lewis Hamilton has signed a new multiyear deal to grow his entertainment business. His production company, Dawn Apollo Studios, has so far released one monumental global release, F1, which became the highest-grossing auto-racing film of all time. Hamilton did not just produce the Brad Pitt starrer, he rigorously reviewed the script to ensure the racing felt authentic, even making a cameo in the 2025 film.

And now, it is time for the next chapter. Dawn Apollo is now shifting from a project-by-project setup into a formal Hollywood engine. Hamilton’s studio has just finalized a massive pipeline deal which could turn it into a multi-media powerhouse.

Dawn Apollo signed a multiyear, first-look deal with Paramount’s Skydance Sports. Under this deal, Skydance could review and finance any script, concept, or project Dawn Apollo creates, while Hamilton serves as the EP. This deal, however, could go far beyond traditional movies and TV. It could be Dawn Apollo’s official launchpad for the television, gaming concepts, consumer merchandise and products, cross-medium animated franchises and more.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jesse Sisgold, President of Paramount Sports Entertainment and Chair of Skydance Sports, thinks of Hamilton as a “natural premium entertainment partner.”

“Skydance Sports understands how powerful sport, culture and entertainment can be in moving audiences, and I’m excited to team up with Jesse and the team to bring those stories to life,” Hamilton said in a statement, as reported by THR. This deal would allow Hamilton to leverage his global F1 star power to build a lucrative career as a premium Hollywood executive producer.

The partnership is built around three central entertainment verticals, with cross-media integrations tying them together.

What to expect from this partnership

Lewis Hamilton is currently co-writing three movie concepts. He has teamed up with professional screenwriters to develop the projects for the studio. Reportedly, one of the live-action feature scripts has already progressed beyond the early drafting stage. Beyond film, the partnership is also expanding into scripted television, including an original comedy series conceived by Hamilton.

Animation is another big part of the deal. Two of the three movie scripts Hamilton, the wealthiest active driver in Formula 1, is personally working on are animated feature films. This shows that Dawn Apollo has ambitions that go well beyond simply putting movies in theaters. The company is aiming to build multi-platform commercial franchises that can grow across different forms of entertainment.
