This time, the uproar followed her being seen holding little Rocky Thirteen Barker while sitting on a moving boat.

Kourtney Kardashian addressed the growing criticism directly through her Instagram Story, revealing she had taken swift action after reading the concerns. “Update: bought a life vest that fits! good looking out,” she wrote, alongside a screenshot of the vest she purchased. Kardashian admitted she “did not think about some of the dangers” and thanked commenters for making her aware, adding she hoped it would help “other mommies” understand the risks of boating without proper safety equipment.

The remarks followed backlash to an Instagram photo dump in which the first image showed Kardashian holding her youngest child, Rocky Barker, on a visibly moving boat. While the image was candid and affectionate, viewers noticed Rocky was not wearing any safety gear. The sight prompted many to accuse Kardashian of overlooking essential precautions, pointing to the speed of the boat as a cause for concern.

It was not Kourtney Kardashian’s first encounter with parenting critiques, although this particular round seemed more reasonable than most.

Her decision to co-sleep with her daughter Penelope until age eleven sparked both praise and concern, which Kardashian defended as a natural choice. Tensions within the Kardashian family have further fueled the discussion. Kim Kardashian, who gave an important marriage advice to her sister from her own experience,  has openly challenged her sister’s lenient approach, expressing disbelief at missed school days and stricter views on discipline.
