Acting for Kim Kardashian has always been like a side quest that refuses to stay on the sidelines. Over the past few years, her portfolio has hardened into something far more deliberate: prestige adjacency, legal dramas, Ryan Murphy corridors, and a growing comfort with scripts that require more than just presence. And as with most Kardashian ventures, the inner circle is never far behind.

Enter La La Anthony, friend, confidante, and frequent Keeping Up With the Kardashians fixture, now stepping back into the spotlight beside her. Here is everything to know about their upcoming show.

Kim Kardashian and La La Anthony are officially teaming up again, this time locking in a new half-hour comedy at Hulu that keeps their long-running personal and professional alliance intact. Developed with writer-producer Tracy Oliver, the series will be executive produced by both women under Kardashian’s first-look deal with 20th Television.

The untitled series shifts tone and geography, centering on a high-powered Bay Area crisis manager working with professional athletes. When her husband becomes embroiled in scandal, her carefully curated life begins to fracture, pushing her back toward the three women who have anchored her through every phase of adulthood. Anthony is expected to lead.

After Hulu quietly passed on Group Chat, the long-gestating comedy pilot that had La La Anthony in the lead and Kim Kardashian behind the scenes as executive producer, the story could have ended in development limbo. The pilot, inspired by Anthony’s 2014 book The Love Playbook, followed six women in their forties navigating polished Los Angeles lives, until, apparently, it did not quite click with the streamer after nearly two years in the pipeline.

But Kim Kardashian’s empire does not exactly pause for one project, it multiplies.

A growing slate for Kim Kardashian: Reality, drama, and everything in between

If the Hulu comedy signals creative persistence, Kim Kardashian’s broader slate reads like a network executive’s whiteboard mid-pitch season. She is backing Team Moms, a new reality series greenlit at Paramount+, diving into the high-stakes ecosystem of competitive youth baseball at Scottsdale’s Legendary Prep Academy. The show tracks teen athletes, hyper-invested parents, and coaches navigating a pipeline that stretches from Division I scholarships to NIL deals and, ultimately, Major League Baseball aspirations.

Produced by ITV America alongside Kim Kardashian Productions and Paramount Sports Entertainment, the series leans into the intensity of ambition, where parental fervor rivals on-field performance. Meanwhile, Kardashian has already wrapped the Netflix film The Fifth Wheel and is set to return for season two of Hulu’s legal drama All’s Fair. La La Anthony, for her part, continues building momentum with roles in BMF and The Chi, rounding out a résumé that increasingly mirrors her producing ambitions.

In other words, one pilot may have stalled, but the partnership, much like Kardashian’s career itself, simply pivoted.
