Kevin Feige has made it clear that Marvel is not going to stop anytime soon. Just a month ago, Marvel announced that they would be limiting their output from now on in order to focus on quality over quantity. This decision kind of divided the fans, as for most of them it was a welcome change that would help them get over the superhero fatigue and also ensure that the studio has enough time to fine-tune the final product. However, there were some who saw this shift as a subtle sign of slowing down, fearing they had run out of stories to tell.

But putting an end to all the skepticism now, Marvel boss Kevin Feige has assured everyone that there are a plethora of stories still left to bring to the big screen.

Kevin Feige’s bold proclamation for Marvel’s future

Reflecting on nearly two decades of blockbuster storytelling at the Pioneer of the Year dinner, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has emphasized that the franchise is far from finished. Feige highlighted the historic scope of the project, noting the sheer breadth of the narrative they have built.

"The Marvel mythology is ripe for storytelling. It's so rich. It is, and you can look this up, the longest-running fictional narrative in history, Feige said at the event.

“And Doomsday's only the 39th movie. We've still got a lot of stories to tell, a lot of movies to make. Because we love making these movies, we love it," he added further, signaling there is more to come post the Multiverse Saga.

His Pioneer of the Year address shows enthusiasm for the road ahead, emphasizing that the team still has a lot to offer to the loyal audience, and they are going to keep at it as long as there are stories left in the Marvel lore. After all, they have the next phase after the end of the Multiverse Saga all figured out.

After Avengers: Secret Wars, it is all going to be about the world of mutants, as the next MCU Phase is called the Mutant Saga. In fact, they have just the bunch of characters planned who will bear the entire weight of the narrative in this new Marvel era. And we are going to meet them in the X-Men reboot planned for the year 2028.

For now, the focus remains stuck on Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars, the much-anticipated finale of Phase 6.

The two Avengers sequels will bring Phase 6 to a full circle with a bang

Set to deliver a massive crossover event, Marvel's upcoming Avengers: Doomsday will unite a sprawling ensemble that includes the Fox-era X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Thunderbolts, core heroes like Thor and Captain America, and Robert Downey Jr. returning, but this time as Doctor Doom. In the lead-up to the premiere, the current theatrical re-release of Avengers: Endgame Encore is introducing new bonus scenes designed to directly bridge into Doomsday.

As far as Avengers: Secret Wars is concerned, Kevin Feige has promised it to be the most satisfying ending to the Multiverse Saga with major pinch-me moments filled all throughout the movie. However, the release of the movie on the intended date in 2027 remains extremely doubtful due to several production delays.
