On a recent episode of the British reality show Celebrity Big Brother, Gary
Goldsmith, Kate Middleton’s uncle, did not hold back in his opinions about
Meghan Markle. Goldsmith described Markle as a “stick in the spokes” of the
British royal family, insinuating that she brought about unnecessary “drama”
into the royal fold. The Celebrity Big Brother contestant reminisced about the
days when Prince Harry, Kate Middleton, and Prince William were like the three
musketeers, but then Meghan Markle came along and allegedly upset the applecart.

Goldsmith felt that Prince Harry had gone too far by airing the family’s dirty
laundry and then expecting a welcome with open arms. He also expressed his
disappointment over the situation and predicted that, as a forgiving nation, the
UK would eventually welcome Prince Harry back into the fold. Middelton’s uncle,
however, overlooked the fact that Prince William might still be a stumbling
